HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE: HOW TO SIMPLIFY THE CONTROL OF INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS?
In an ever-changing environment, mastering manufacturing systems is a key issue for making the right operational decisions.
Prerequisite: ensure that a quick scalability is available for both resources and processes, when every minute and decision counts.
In practice, this requires us to:
- Be able to modify functions and reprogramm machines (machine-tools, conveyor systems, access systems,…) without engaging external resources
- Roll out complex and dedicated applications, making it easier for collaborators to install, pilot and control systems
At the same time, interconnecting resources inside a more complete system creates new challenges (data collecting, KPI, dashboard ..).
Based on our experience in automation, we will present how HMI can be an efficient solution to a multitude of today's industrial challenges.
